Manage task lists

Some of your administrative work may require multiple related tasks. Lists let you compile and organize those various tasks in one place!

You'll find task lists in the Tasks page in Home and the Planning Center mobile app.

Create a new task list

1. Select Tasks from the bottom navigation in the Planning Center mobile app.

2. Select the ➕ plus icon to the right of My Lists.

3. (Optional) If your organization has list templates, you can select From template and choose a template instead.

4. Enter a name for the task list.

5. Add any collaborators you'd like to share the list with.

6. Choose a List color.

7. Select Add list.

1. Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.

2. Select the ➕ plus icon next to Lists in the left sidebar. If your organization has templates for lists, you can select the dropdown next to the ➕ plus icon and choose the template from there.

3. Enter a name for the task list.

4. Select Add task.

5. Enter the task name.

6. Add a description or links to the task.

7. Select a due date for the task. The Relative option allows you to set a due date that's relative to when the list is created.

8. Select Create task.

9. Repeat this process to add additional tasks.

You can add collaborators who can be assigned to tasks and notified when a list is created from this template by selecting the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right and choosing Manage collaborators from the dropdown.

To change the color for the list, select the circle icon next to the list name and choose a color from the dropdown.

Use the fields at the top of the list to search, sort, and filter your tasks.

Duplicate a task list

1. Select Tasks from the bottom navigation in the Planning Center mobile app.

2. Select the list you want to duplicate.

3. Select the three-dots icon in the top right corner.

4. Choose Duplicate list from the dropdown.

5. Select Duplicate in the popup.

3. Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right.

4. Choose Duplicate from the dropdown.

Archive a task list

1. Select Tasks from the bottom navigation in the Planning Center mobile app.

2. Select the list you want to archive.

3. Select the three-dots icon in the top right corner.

4. Choose Archive list from the dropdown.

5. Select Archive in the popup.

3. Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right.

4. Choose Archive list from the dropdown.

Unarchive a task list

This feature is currently only available when using Home in a web browser.

1. Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.

2. Select View archived lists in the left sidebar.

3. Select the Actions button to the right of the list you want to unarchive.

4. Choose Unarchive list from the dropdown.

Delete a task list

This feature is currently only available when using Home in a web browser.

1. Select the Tasks page from the top navigation.

2. Select the list you want to delete from the left sidebar.

3. Select the ⚙️ settings icon in the top right.

4. Choose Archive list from the dropdown.

5. Select View archived lists in the left sidebar.

6. Select the Actions button to the right of the list you want to delete.

7. Choose Delete list from the dropdown.
